HOW TO MAKE MARINATED SALMON RECIPE

Follow these steps to make this recipe:

  1. Make the marinade – In a large bowl, add the lemon juice, parsley, garlic, honey, apple cider vinegar, brown mustard, olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix the ingredients together to combine and set aside.
  2. Combine the salmon and marinade – Place the salmon inside a large ziplock bag or add to the large mixing bowl and pour all the marinade over it, tossing the marinade and salmon together coating it well in the marinade.
  3. Refrigerate – Place the salmon in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  4. Bake – Preheat oven to 450°F. Remove the salmon from the refrigerator, then place the salmon slices on a foil or parchment-lined baking sheet. Spoon the rest of the marinade over the fish as the oven pre-heats. Place the sheetpan in the upper third portion of the oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes. The fish should begin to flake when tested with a fork.

PRO TIPS FOR MAKING THIS RECIPE

  1. Pulse the marinade. Place the marinade ingredients in a blender and pulse for a couple of minutes for an extra flavorful marinade.
  2. Fully heat the oven. A hot oven is key for delicious baked salmon. Make sure your oven is fully heated for best results.
  3. Change the protein. Try this recipe with shrimp, chicken legs, or thighs for a flavorful mix-up.
  4. Broil. For extra crispy salmon, place it on the top rack and broil for 2 minutes or until the skin is nice and brown.
