A delicious, healthy green smoothie packed with healthy greens, pineapple, mango, banana, almond milk, and ginger. This smoothie is naturally sweetened, loaded with tons of vitamin C to keep you feeling energetic, and best of all it’s made in 5 minutes!
Homemade smoothies are a brilliant choice if you are looking for a quick, healthy option that will also give you more energy. Smoothies are also my go-to for diet resets, fasting, and anytime I need a quick, healthy boost. A fresh green smoothie is the perfect way to start the day naturally, boost your immune system, and also increase your mood for an overall good day.
I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t start most of my days with anything other than eggs and a cup of coffee. I am always on the go, so the quick caffeine boost is usually justified. Although I love my morning cup of coffee, starting the day off with a good boost of energy from smoothies always makes me feel lighter and healthier.

Nothing beats starting the day with a delicious, nutritious breakfast. If you are looking for more healthy breakfast recipes, try my Chocolate Banana Smoothie, Rise and Shine Smoothie Bowl, and Blueberry Lemon Yogurt Muffins recipes.

Jump to the bottom of the recipe card below this post for full ingredient measurements and instructions.
- Greens – about 2 cups of fresh greens, kale, spinach, or any kind, cleaned and dried.
- Pineapple – frozen, diced
- Banana – You can use fresh or frozen. Using frozen bananas will result in a smoothie with a thicker consistency.
- Almond milk – or any milk of choice
- Ginger – Fresh ginger is preferred
HOW TO MAKE GREEN SMOOTHIES
Follow these steps to make this recipe:
- Blend: Load the blender with the almond milk, followed by fresh ingredients, then frozen ingredients. Blend the ingredients together until smooth.
- Divide and Top: Divide the smoothie between two glasses, then top with fresh berries.
PRO TIPS FOR MAKING THIS RECIPE
- Load the ingredients correctly. This helps prevent air pockets from forming around the blender’s blade, which could cause the blender to stall, resulting in a smoothie with a chunky consistency. For smoother, completely blended smoothies, be sure to add the ingredients in the correct order.
- The fruit. You can buy frozen fruit just about everywhere; however, I love to clean and freeze my fruit for smoothies. I enjoy this because it helps me reduce food waste by giving my older, leftover fruit a new life.
- The sweetener. Customizing this smoothie bowl includes omitting the honey, or adding any alternatives you choose including stevia, agave, and other options.
