Easy Frozen Watermelon Lemonade Recipe

Although I grew up in Texas around tons of watermelon fields. Surprisingly, I usually don’t even eat it! The kids enjoy eating watermelon slices during summer, but I rarely indulge. Do I have watermelon fatigue? Probably not because I still love anything watermelon flavored! I guess eating it is just too much work for me sometimes. I’d much rather drink it. I enjoy adding the juice of watermelon to so many beverages! I especially love making cocktails to help cool off.

Since the kids spend the majority of the summer outside, (yes, we still enjoy being outdoors in the age of technology 🙃) I find myself whipping up this frozen delight often. It only takes about 10 minutes! You can even cut down on the time if you are using seedless watermelon, and you don’t mind watermelon pulp.

This summer season has just started, and we are already experiencing temperatures over 100 degrees! It’s no wonder why the only thing I have been making on repeat lately are frozen treats including popsicles, ice cream, and iced drinks. Since temperatures are not expected to drop for the next few months, I’m pretty sure that this frozen watermelon lemonade is going to become a standing order in my house ☺️
