RECIPES TO MAKE WITH BRUSSELS SPROUTS
Brussels sprouts are versatile and can be served with almost anything. Brussels sprouts are a holiday must in my house. BRUSSEL SPROUT INGREDIENTS

Brussel Sprouts – I use 2 pounds of fresh Brussels sprouts
Bacon – Any bacon will work
Onion – I have used sweet onions, yellow, and white onions over the years. Use what you have on hand already.
Garlic – a little fresh garlic goes a long way here.
Red Pepper flakes – Add a little heat and warm to these brussels. Feel free to leave them out if you want.
HOW TO MAKE PAN ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS
Follow these simple steps to make this recipe:
- Prep the Brussels Sprouts: Prepare the Brussels sprouts by cleaning them, trimming the rough bottoms, and cutting them in half.
- Cook the Bacon: Place the olive oil in a heated skillet, then add the bacon and cook until the bacon is crispy. Remove the bacon, place it on a paper towel-lined plate, and set aside.
- Saute the Onion: Add the sliced onions to the skillet, and season with salt and pepper. Cook the onions until caramelized.
- Cook the Brussels Sprouts: Add the Brussels sprouts and crushed red pepper to the skillet, and season lightly with salt and pepper. Cook until the Brussels sprouts are bright green. Add in the garlic and cook for another 30 seconds, stirring to combine.
- Add the Cooked Bacon: Add the bacon back and toss to combine.
